Set Free

An unscheduled meeting
Face to face.
A jesture of peace was made.
Short conversation, simply polite
Then we both walked our
Separate ways.
Some burden of weight was
Released from me.
Resentment and anger finally set
Free.
No longer does it matter what
Transpired.
It is done, placed in the
Past.
Soon forgotten, I pray.
