A few days of rest and relaxation
time to work the garden and capture
on film the lovely butterflies
Oops, the camera battery is dead
Quess I will have to wait for
another try to catch this lovely view
upon a piece of film
This is sounding a bit antiquated
not the latest in photo equipment
yet it does the job of capturing
one moment that I can place
between glass enabling us to
enjoy throughout the winter these
short months of repose from cold
winter snow.

Loved the comment you posted at my blog this morning, Pauline! Thanks for visiting and sharing it!

Photos capture more than memories -- they capture time and hold it still so that we can relive that one special moment over and over and over agin. You words have the same effect -- verbal "snapshots" of emotion ... nicely done.
Well said, Quilldancer. And Pauline, when you do capture those butterflies on film you should post them here so we can enjoy them too!
It's me again!
I just ran across this and thought of you, Pauline... Because of the poem you posted in your comments on my blog.
"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth."
--Oscar Wilde
Thanks for sharing that and for your visit. I'm working on the camera issue. More flowers today for the butterflies!
