Springs Offering

Forgive me for dwelling
In the shadows
I have waited here
Too long
Let me greet the sunshine
And marvel at it all
I will bask in its rays
Surrounded now in
Gentle warmth
Caressed and soothed
Will be both body and soul
Energized, renewed like the
Flowers of spring
I shall grow re-born
And be adorned
With blossoms sweet
