God Is The Ocean

Seranade of surf and sand upon this
quiet beach. September sunshine with
warmth enough to spark the inner soul.
Rekindled now I lie here upon the sand
in harmony, as we should always be,
for God is the ocean vast and powerful
we are the grains of sand. Help me to
let go Lord, of my petty power trip.
Help me to sit back and witness Your
works about me!

I am a child of the mountains. It is there that I always stop and marvel at God's glory and majesty. I am so small, and his power is infinite. I marvel that he can care so much for one such as me.

Mountains ... ocean ... whatever it is that remind us that we are merely mortals living in the hand of the Divine, should also remind us he has numbered the very hairs on our heads and considers us infinately precious.

That is truly humbling.
