Take me back O Lord where
Simplicity and sincerity abound
Where love exudes
Passing through all people there
And fills them
With the spirit of sharing.
Take me back and let me linger
In Your peaceful presence
This I desire, no earthly gift may
Be found that could surpass the
Joy of love, simplicity and caring
Take me back O Lord to that
Spirit of sharing.

The spirit of sharing gets harder and harder to find. And this ache in my soul reminds me that truly, this Earth is not my home.
ohhh quilldancer
The spirit of sharing does exist, but it is true earth is not our home.
Beautiful Pauline, if only it would reach more hearts. Q
Indeed the spirit of sharing isn't dead. All of the wonderful people I work in ministry with validate that fact daily. I have even met a few people here on the net -- especially in blog-land -- who are willing to reach out. But sharing is not the ubiquitous virtue it once was.
(In fact, the existance of blog-land. This "safe" realm where one can safely reach out to and communicate with strangers might be the step-child of the decline in trust and sharing among strangers.)
Hmmm -- now I'm a philosopher. Fancy that. It must be Pauline's poetry!
For quilldancer and quasar9:
Thank you both for sharing your time. It means alot to me, more than you perhaps understand. Sharing thoughts and feelings may be a beginning to good things.Perhaps someone will write a knowlegeable article on the healing component of blogging!
