Color Me

Color me a pale yellow or a
Shade of lavender
Just a touch of your brush
To enhance not hide
Wash me in fragrant rose
Pedals with soft gentle kisses
Like a garden well tended I
Shall bask in your arms as
The sunlit flowers that flourish
And provide sweet greetings to
The senses.

And greetings to you Pauline.
Thank you for your words
your wisdom
and your lighthearted take on life

Subtle yet sexy.

Poems are so much fun. I often wonder where the words come from. Another realm passing through us, we are merely the pen. I wrote this while my husband and I were working in the garden. I liked the words that visited me but they hardly represent the labor of love in the earth's soil and gardening. I was just so happy to have his help!
