My youngest granddaughter age three
lives in an environment filled with talk
of healthcare and medicine. Her mother
is a nurse and conversations are at
times overheard.
This morning I telephoned to say hello.
While my daughter and I spoke, I over-
heard the three year old say "It's out of
breath; I need help." Nonchalantly, her
mother replied "Ask your sister."
My interest and concern peeked I asked
"What is out of breath?" The reply I heard
was "Her balloon."
Laughing, I stated this is the best I have ever
heard. This child has made a diagnosis and
announced "My balloon is out of breath."
Fascinating to me the reflection of a child's
environment in the early years. She is being
shaped by medical terms and her family is
totally, unaware.
Here I will take a moment to apologize for
being boring and passing on a story of a
grandchild, but I felt this one somewhat unique.

No apology necessary. That was cute!
I had to post that if only for a laugh.
Wonderful Story, Children are so innocent but wise at the same time.
God Bless
