For World Peace

I do not recall where I copied this
but I have had it for years and so
I will share:
A Native American grandfather was talking
to his grandson about his feelings after the
attacks. He said, "I feel as if I have two wolves
fighting in my heart. One is the vengeful, angry,
violent one. The other wolf is the loving,
compassionate one."
The grandson asked him, "Which wolf will win
the fight in your heart?"
The grandfather answered, "The one that I feed."

I can only pass along these words. I cannot change
our world political structure. I only wish more people
understood this simple statement and chose to live
by its example.
A peacefilled day is wished for all!

I have seen this before, but it is well worth repeating. There is a powerful lesson in those words.

Wow! Magic in the Air
Deep Profound
With so much wisdom found in the hearts of the Native American elders. It's their young bucks with their wild hearts they could not hold back. Alas the impetuosity of youth ...

Wishing you a lovely day!

Amazing how quickly news spreads in these times. We are all so connected and laden with information. Today's news brought conversations of "where were you?" on September 11, 2001. I have spoken to very few people who weren't aware of what was happening that day right as it was unfolding. Between radio, tv, internet and phones, most people heard the news instantly enough to see the second plane hit the towers. I made a point not to watch the tv today. I said a prayer and hoped for the best. I don't need to see any more live tragedies on cnn.
