I'm not one who runs to the doctor. My belief is in the natural healing ability of ones body given rest, time and proper nourishment. So this self-healing individual, a homeopathy realized after telephoning into work, that perhaps I should consult a physician.
My bottom lip looks like a botched botox job. Something done by a medical practitioner with false credentials.
Don't try and tell me; I've heard the lectures of sun damage. My short stay on this earth would be saddened without the joy of sunshine! I need the sparkle of its rays upon the ocean.
Okay, I concede that an investment into some adorable "old lady hat" would at this time be appropriate; and in my best interest. Also a 30 sunscreen for the lips, whenever they return.
The Irish should be banned from all sun worship festivals. Yet, I insist that solar power is the energy I require for body and soul, to feel renewed and energized. Capable, of stumbling along through my darkened passage ways. Carrying sunbeams to guide the way!

Pauline, I guess the Sun is gentler back in Ireland. lol!
Hope your lips are soothing
And yes sunblock is a good idea where the Sun shines hotter.
In Eire, we use water particles in the sky as a sunblock, and don't allow harmful rays thru, except very seldom when the Druids are away from home ...
Pauline, I too need sun in order to thrive. I think I must be part plant. Sorry for the burn, but glad you ejoyed the outing.
Interesting- I you make the third person that I know who got sun poisoning this summer. I was entertaining the idea of hitting the beach today- I will be more careful now.
Yes, I did break down and vist a physician. Thankfully a script was written and I am in alot less discomfort. Live and learn...I think I should have learned by now. Perhaps I should have said Live and remember what you have learned! Thanks for no lecters. even my doctor was compassionate and did not state the obvious.
I feel your pain, literally. I suffered the worst sun poisoning of my life on my upper legs when I swelled and turned purple, developed fever and chills. Sunscreen daily since then as a lesson learned, but what a painful teacher it was.
What a lovely site you have here. Such wonderful poetry and photos and an air of lightheartedness in your stories.
Sending you smiles and wishes for a happy Sunday!!
