September Beach

Long lengths of sand emptied
From the summers' crowd
Warmth of the sun, no scorch
Left in her now
Deep inhalation of salty air
Lonesome waves bring their
Sounds, embracing the shore
This is a September beach
Serene and soothing to the soul
A solitary musician finds quiet here
With natures presence he writes
Notes upon a page, that will praise
Throughout the long winter the glory
Of this September day.

Magical words threaded with serene and peaceful beauty,
Nature, the Sea, the shore
the waves, the rush, the cool calm

No matter what notes that magician penned, they will not offer as much peace as the sound of the waves rushing up on shore -- nor will they be as lovely as this poem you just penned capturing music, beach, sun and tranquility.

Beautiful, once again. You always capture so much feeling in your poetry. I love to go to the shore during the fall and winter months when the sands are deserted and the serenity of the shore is most "felt". And you have taken me there with your magical words. Thank you!!

Hi Pauline,
Thought I'd come back
for another gentle stroll
along this beautiful beach
where gentle words do come ashore

Thanks for the beautiful words. I was immediately taken back to my Aunt Edith on Cape Breton Island. I can see and hear the North Atlantic now.

Thanks
