Snippet of Conversations

We go to the beach for many
different reasons some are
escape, rest, sun worship,
exercise, meeting place for
family and friends.
We often seek solitude, a
place to walk with fulfilling air
and view and pounding waves
that erase from our mind stagnant
thought.
Snippit of Conversations from
People walking by seemed to
Me more interesting than ususal
George Salmon...Judge...Surgery for
Rotorcuff...Laughter carried on the air
Politics...Work status...Apartments...
Who's pitching...I can't hear it...
But best of all this overheard:

A child cries leaving the beach after
a long day. Dad ignores his outburst
as one from exhaustion continuing to
walk briskly. The child, a young boy of
three or four cries out in panic "You
can't take the water (carried in a bucket
for cleaning little feet) "You can't take the
water, it belongs to the beach." I am sure

he will grow to become a respected and
well known environmentalist.

Catching bits and pieces of other people'c conversations have always intrigued me. I overheard at Wal-Mart: (Her) "You've got to be the biggest idiot that ever lived!" (Him) I can't argue with that, after all I married you!"
