Running

The telephone rang at 7:30 in the
morning, of course I thought it
must be you. No one else would
ever call before 8:00.

Running to the phone, I found myself
disappointed. The call received was
from a distant relative on your father's
side of the family.

How are you anyway; so busy that you
cannot speak? I hope your new job is
going well.

I think of you often and pray that you find
peace, acceptance and strength to leave
behind all youthful mistakes. It is right for
you to walk with eyes forward; never waste
time looking back.

We cannot change what has been yet we
are molded by our circumstance; into the
person,place or thing that God has willed
us to be.

I read this recently: "All things are God
given or God permitted." For our growth
and spiritual learning.

With love and prayers and gentle thoughts
I wish you joy of heart, strength to forgive,
love to surround you that flows from within.
