Waiting

Shaped like a miniature
Sea vessel
Resting upon the shore
Abandoned by the spirits
That quietly rode aboard
Look closely at its stern
Too exhausted to endure
Any further adventure
She sits waiting with

Head bowed
Waiting still
For understanding
To remain or go ashore.

Dear Pauline

Your poem made me weep/sob.
Today, these words reached the depths of my soul, as I feel like the “tattered vessel” I see… Not, the Aladdin’s lamp “it is”!

Thank you. Wonderful addition to the image and to dearest Quasar’s words.

I would like to have a copy, with your permission

Warm wishes of love and joy
