October brings us many things
Falling leaves of changing colors
House steps now occupied with
Pumpkins at rest
Bouquets of autumn flowers greet
Our steps along the walkways
October air, crisp and clean
Apple trees with laden branches offer
Their prized gift
We happily partake of this bounty
Fresh picked
With joyful conversation, we share
This annual event our apple picking day.

lovely October gifts
I did this with my daughter when she was about 6 and 7 and we had so much fun.
Vegas' October gift is 90* weather, hay fever and blowing sand. Blah. Your October is much more appealing.
