Within the city, as you all know
Houses are placed close together
Often one building that shares
The same address
Is space for twenty families
We hear, without really listening
Sometimes music or laughter
Occasionally a raised voice
In debate
Each of course asserting their
Opinion as right!
Hedge clippers, snow blowers,
Car engines that race for the
Morning's five minute head start
Doors closing somewhat forcefully
We hear sounds of an other's life
We share space and experience
Both the joy and pain of
Connectedness
Within the confines of city life.

City life is much different from Country life. I've been living in a city for over 10 years. I sometimes miss the country sounds but my big city is like a small town, you'd think they are rolling up the sidewalks at nights .
Have a Blessed day
And thus life flows
