Rooftops bathed in white
Cotton blankets
Lowly pigeons now placed
Like silhouettes upon the roof
Houses partially adorned with
Christmas decorations
As if by magic
Stars gracefully bedeck the
Empty branches of garden trees
The magic of the heavens
Is within our reach
Birds flutter to the feeders
Doubtful whether human feet
Will brave the cold snow
Covered ground
The birds fill themselves
Knowing full well the bitter
Cold days instore ahead
That will bring more snow
Blankets to cover the ground.

I love it when it snows. Everything looks so clean.
I like the snow leading up to Christmas with the decorations on the homes and store fronts decorated. Snow does put one in the Christmas Spirit quicker than bare ground.
Goldennib is so right when it snows it makes things look so clean.
