It Must Be Christmas

Quickly moving from room to room
Rushing back and forth
Sometimes I turn in circles
Forgetful of my task
My little dog, she follows me
Getting quite confused
So she decides to just curl-up
Finding her comfort spot
It's then I see and sense a smile
Realizing my quick pace
I do sit down beside the dog
And gently embrace
Her calm, her patience, her
UN-hurried way
Smiling now my thoughts are
It must be Christmas
There is so much to do...
Lost, hurried, circling
And then
This tiny dog
Reminds me of Time-Out!

Just in case I'm circling, round about I go
Just want to wish all that read the joyfulness
of Christmas Day!

I liked that. Could really get the visual of it. Reminded me of me! But without a dog to slow me down.

Good for Me

Who says we can't learn from the animals. I look at my cats and see how happy they are resting and I stop for a minute and do the same.

Merry Christmas Pauline

round in circles I go...our foru legged furry angels do now how to call attention to what we ned to do, don't they?

FInally, I am also gettting caught up with a normal pace", and life feels a little easier to take while still embracing for another big storm... ouch

Hope all is well at your end.

Thank you so much for your continued visits... so kind of you.

Wishing you all the wonders of the season
