Sail boats abandoned
By their owners
Winter breezes are now
On the horizon
Sails tenderly folded
Stored away
Steel stanchions hang
From empty metal masts
Clattering against bare poles
They echo
Rhythmic music
Of the wind.

I have several sailboat marinas on my street and as I was walking this week I saw and heard exactly this.

Actually for December it was a beautiful day. Air movement made the music but the sun smiled upon us!
