In this hurry hurry-up world
With little time to just be still
I returned today from hurrying
And was greeted at the phone
By the blinking message signal
Of a call
A local Church had left a
Message and a schedule of
Service time's I could attend
In this hurry hurry-up world
I couldn't help but smile and
I took the time to listen twice
To this message left for me
Blessings for a happy, peaceful
New Year
So I thought perhaps that I could
Share those blessing here with you
In a hurry hurry-up world perhaps
They may cause you to pause and
Hopefully you will smile too.
