I would long to be
A smile, a comfort
A gentle word in time
Of need

The goodness and love
Of family and friends
I would seek to embrace
Everyone that I meet
Welcoming each with
Ideas to share

I would wish to be a
Gentle breeze of sweet
Relief
A soothing song that
Unburdens the soul
A resting place of comfort,

it is those words
those very thoughts
that will ensure ...
for life is more than the flesh
this is but primary school, or
kindergarten for the life to come
The world with no suffering, no sadness, no hate, no pain, no decay and no death ... for the spirit cannot die ... only matter can decay and fade and pass away
I was thinking of your poem , and how we pass on ourselves through our choices... through our family and friends... through our words, our art... such a wonderful thought!

If we live forever, we become one with the world...a soothing song, a smile, embrace, forever. The idea of forever and you have answered the essence of forever.
