I couldn't help but smilewatching this beautiful
creature enjoying his light
lunch he made me pause
and realize how much work
we generate for ourselves
if only, I thought, if only we
could enjoy dried hay from
a wooden floor
wouldn't life be so much
easier and simplified!

not sure about dry hay from the floor, I'm sure even horses prefer lush green grass.
But there must be something said about an uncomplicated life.
No worries about what to wear or how to get there.
No worries other than where the next meal is coming from ...
Just so you know I will be absent for a few days. Short notice for a wedding planned. We look forward to visiting and wishing the young couple "all the best." When we return it will be a race to prepare for the baby shower...and I am still spinning with wonderful life events! Love to all from New Enland
