This is what I'll be looking at a week and a day from now. Though my flight is in the dark, a Red Eye. I like flying at night as you can see the lights from the towns and cities way below.

Hi Pauline, there is certainly less City noise on the other side, and it always looks better from a distance, but one always tends to think the grass is greener, on the other side or even from higher up
There's a peaceful beauty looking at the clouds and sky from below, there's a peaceful beauty looking at the clouds & sky from above, and the earth & sea further down below!
