Remnants of Yesterday

I do not know your story
of days when you stood proud
no one has documented your
purpose for events
yet today you stand displaying
fortitude and stength
standing here beside you
my challenge is to grasp
your story yet untold
your purpose now
your lesson to be lent
of granite stone
and monument

I love looking at pictures like this, there is so much character to these pictures. I can only imagine how old the ruins are, and the history that has happened to the world since the building was put up.

Thank you for sharing
