Sounds

Ocean waves tossed upon
the shore
sea gulls cry overhead as they
swiftly soar
with silent wings spread
they resemble kites
that ride the winds
stringless
they hold us captive
with their cries of joy
and freedom
in their graceful flight
we find rest
from our thoughts
we are free
of self imposed limitations

The ocean makes me feel that way, especially in winter.

Hello dear. Sheesh it's been a long time since I've gone visiting blogs. Just a note to say hello and let you know I'm thinking of you even if I'm not coming by. Have a great week and God Bless!

Wonderful poem Pauline, reading it brought back memories of living in Nova Scotia and visiting my Aunt who lives along the North Atlantic.

Thankyou for Sharing
