of sound we would prefer not to
hear
sometimes a soothing balm
that comforts every tear
our words though well intended
can be ignored unless the other
is receptive
Words expressed cannot be
erased they leave behind an
imprint of our state of mind

how true this is Pauline, Words can be magical, can be wise or can hurt. I agree our words are only as useful to others as to how much they want to listen. I also agree once we utter the words we can never get them back.

You nailed this one, Pauline. I learned the lesson the hard way, about one not being able to take words back. They have such power. For good and for bad.
I know I've said this before, but it is our words that make us most like God. With words we have the power to create and destroy souls.

true, we let go of words sometimes unknowingly, maybe we cannot feel them then. But in the end, reflections will reveal their power.
