Snowy Day

View obstructed by
clouds that rest among
tree tops
houses play dress a-like
in white roof tops
movement of life is marked
by footprint paths
trees and shrubs stand with
frozen powdered faces
silent mimes
stillness of the air embraces
each hurrying thought
every attempted flight
delicate snowflakes
quietly fall
much to my delight

Snow does tend to equalize all landscapes.

This is lovely.

Never having playing dress-a-like I wonder of the fun? Were I to have grown up a little girl this would have been a wonderful game.
And houses playing it . . . such a thought, neat.

Nice put-together of words, you have a knack for poetry.

Thanks for visiting.
