Upon Velvet

A crisp cold night that chases
Away all smog
Leaving the awesome view
Of deep midnight blue
Draped across the city sky
Interrupted only by
Dazzling constellations
No telescope needed on
This clear night to observe
For the stars stand clearly
Sprinkled by God's hands
Like jewels spread upon
Velvet fabric for us to view.

we feel almost naked,
in the sea of infinite creation,
and chances of evolution,
sweep the imagination
