Clinging

Clinging to the memories
of summer sun and
warmer days
clinging to the joyfilled
heart of yesterdays

Memories help, but don''t spend so much time with them that you miss making new ones today.

Memories are invasive whether good or bad they creep into our mind often without warning. After a delightful day of newness some emotional crash occurs and I am swept away through tears and questions on not understanding. Love to you my friend.

Hi Pauline. Memories are cathartic in moments of bewilderment and sorrow.

Wishing you a joyful weekend. Take care and God bless.

A winter upon us to collect ponder and process the living past. Then new hope for the spring and future surprises; continuation of our lives.

Your poems are always balm to my soul.

Isn't that how it always is? We cling to those things that warm us and comfort...ahhh love what a warm blanket.

I am loving your writing more and more.

soft love,

Our Memories are what keeps us going but sometime they can hurt. I've been there myself, but as the time passes the hurt doesn't hurt as much.
