Dawn

The Lord plays with
color this morning
pink-orange blends
into yellow-cream
greeting a grey-blue
sky with dramatic flare
He has placed this color
pallet over rooftops
blanketed by fresh fallen
snow
roof colors purified dressed
in soft white robes

Hi Pauline! Dropping by to wish you a joyous Christmas: you're loved by friends visible and virtual.

Each sunrise is new hope to a new day and new history written on the empty page of life!

Wishing you a bountiful and happy 2009!

Your poem causes a smile as I see the colors.
May the new year be filled with pleasant surprises around every corner. And may you record them with your flowing poetry.
